Sharp ranks as number one microwave brand in Australia

Sharp has been recognised as the number one microwave brand for customer satisfaction in the latest Canstar Blue ratings, ahead of LG and Panasonic, which rounded out the top three.

Canstar Blue awards are based on independent research surveying Australian consumers who have purchased and used microwave ovens in the last three years. Brands are assessed across key factors including overall satisfaction, performance, ease of use, design, value for money and reliability.

In the 2026 ratings, Sharp achieved the highest overall score in the category, highlighting the brand’s continued focus on delivering practical innovation, reliable performance and user-friendly design.

According to Tempo general manager, Nigel Dent, the award reflects the strength of the Sharp brand and the value it brings to Australian consumers.
