At the start of September, Tempo launched its Estate folding electric bike

Perfect for zipping down to the shops or completing that infamous “last mile” of a journey. With the success of this recent release, we can now turn our attention to a sneak peak of the Estate bikes coming out over the rest of 2021…

A very exciting upcoming development is the impending release of the MTN-29er Mountain Bike. These hardtail mountain bikes provide great efficiency when pedalling so that steep climbs are a bit more manageable. These are ideal bicycles for experienced riders, those who are just starting out, and anyone in between. Available in large and medium sizes, this bike features 29” wheels which are great for maintaining momentum over rough ground.

Disc brakes provide great stopping, and gearing is handled by the tried-and-true Shimano 9 speed system. The frame has been carefully crafted from aluminium for light weight, and has internal cable routing, which reduces maintenance and enables the bike to keep its sleek, minimalist look. All of the features of this bike have been designed to enhance the mountain biking experience and allow cyclists of all abilities to enjoy an exhilarating ride.

The kids can also get in on the fun, as Estate will be releasing boy’s and girl’s mountain bikes. Aimed at 8–15-year-olds, with 24” wheels and a lightweight design, these bicycles are the perfect starter bike for kids just starting to shed their training wheels all the way up to older kids wanting a stylish bike for cruising around with friends. The seat and handlebars of both models are adjustable, meaning that kids of all different sizes can enjoy this bike. It also gives the bicycle the capability to grow along with the child, ensuring that they can continue to use it for years to come.

This bike is available in gorgeous purple or grey colour options. The tyres have been selected for their handling on both pavement and dirt, and the seven speed Shimano gears allow children to set their own pace on different terrains. With the safe V-brakes, the bike can stop quickly, even on trickier terrain. This combination of components was key to the design, ensuring that this bike makes cycling easy and fun.

Last – but most certainly not least – comes the release of the Estate E-Mountain Bike! This premium e-bike utilises a mid-drive 250W motor with dynamic torque sensing, so the harder the rider pedals, the more power they receive. With a long and slack frame, and 27.5” Schwalbe tyres, this expertly designed mountain bike is perfect for your next great adventure. The dropper seat post (moving up to 100mm) can be adjusted during the ride to shift the rider into the best position for a steep climb, a rocky descent, and everything in between.

The powerful hydraulic disk brakes allow the rider to come to a secure stop with great control, and the Suntour suspension fork has hydraulic damping to really smooth out the trail. This electric mountain bike is a fun, versatile way to explore the great outdoors!
